We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our development team. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and improving secure and scalable backend systems and APIs. Responsibilities Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services Design and manage databases Implement authentication and authorization Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code Identify and resolve performance and security issues Work closely with frontend developers and other team members Test, debug, and maintain existing applications Requirements Experience with Node.js, Bun, Express.js, Hono, or a similar backend framework Knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or another database Understanding of REST APIs, authentication, and server-side development Familiarity with Git and GitHub Good problem-solving and communication skills Nice to Have Experience with Prisma or Drizzle ORM Knowledge of Redis, Docker, and cloud deployment Experience working with monorepos or microservices Employment Type Full-time Location Remote or on-site Interested candidates should submit their CV, portfolio, and GitHub profile.
